FAQs - Comparison of High and Medium Resolution

How does the Medium Resolution System (PeakSeeker™) compare with the High Resolution (PeakSeeker Pro™)?

At 785 nm excitation, the PeakSeeker offers a spectral resolution of 12 cm^-1, whereas the PeakSeeker Pro offers a spectral resolution of 6 cm^-1. The choice of the system often depends on the requirements of the application. We show here a comparison of the two systems, by looking at two commonly available samples. We leave it to the user to decide what system would be best. We will gladly measure some test samples if desired. Please contact us for details.
